This is shaping up to be a great summer for progressives! Yesterday. of course, marked the National Day to call your Congressperson and tell them you do NOT support the President being granted Fast Track authority (also called Trade Promotion Authority, or TPA) to ram through Congress the horrible Trans Pacific Partnership (TPP) as well as the equally bad Trans Atlantic Trade and Investment Partnership Agreements (TTIP). Hats off to those who called! If you didn’t – it’s not too late. SIMPLY CALL THE CONGRESSIONAL SWITCHNOARD AT 202-225-3121  AND ASK TO BE CONNECTED WITH YOUR CONGRESSPERSON”S OFFICE  –  THEN TELL THEM YOU VERY MUCH OPPOSE GRANTING FAST TRACK AUTHORITY AND THE PASSAGE OF BOTH THE TPP AND THE TTIP!!!

I STRONGLY urge you to tell your friends, relatives, and neighbors to make the call too until these rotten, pro-corporate and anti-worker bills are soundly defeated! Ask them to look at this informative WikiLeaks video by forwarding the link below so they will fully understand:

You may not have heard much about the danger of these bills, especially if you only get your news from the mass media. In case you didn’t know, the major television networks are all owned by 6 huge corporations. They, being multinational corporations controlled by billionaires, want to keep you as ignorant as they can by downplaying as much as they can and filling you up with mindless stories about Kim Kardashian, Caitlyn Jenner, Lindsay Lohan and other Hollywood no-minds, as well as nonsensical so-called “reality” shows like Naked and Afraid, Swamp People,  19 Kids and Counting, Duck Dynasty,  and a boatload of others – each designed just to pacify you and keep you from truly learning about the real world and vitally important issues which face us all.  Because these networks are all corporate-owned, they flood you with increasing amounts of equally-mindless and totally annoying commercials and also deliberately try to appeal to a 12 year-old mentality, so as to capture the largest viewer market share they can.

That is why I so tremendously recommend that you begin seriously watching FS TVFREE SPEECH TV! This remarkable network runs 24 / 7/ 366 and ie totally NON-COMMERCIAL! Imagine watching TV and NOT getting bombarded every 15 minutes with 4 solid minutes of stupid commercials – THAT is FREE SPEECH TV! Imagine intelligent, fact-filled discussion being presented without the show host continually rushing or cutting off his or her guests due to the need to go to a commercial break? – THAT is FREE SPEECH TV!

Imagine solid investigative journalists like AMY GOODMAN, THOM HARTMANN, SONALI KOHATCHAR, and DAVID FSPAKMAN all hosting their own shows – THAT is FREE SPEECH TV! Imagine independently-produced political, economic, and social documentaries, each of them free from corporate influence or corporate bias – THAT is FREE SPEECH TV! Imagine fact-filled political commentary coming from the very young, feisty, and brilliant Eleanor Goldfield, or the steady and established liberal Bill Press, or the sassy and very comedic crew surrounding Stephanie Miller? Or dial-in talk shows like the weekly Brunch with Bernie Sanders? Or learning about corporate misdeeds first hand from “America’s lawyer” Nike Papantonio? These are ALL FREE SPEECH TV!

free speechI mention this now because it is once more fundraising time for our great national resource called FREE SPEECH TV,  They are completely viewer-supported. As such, they do NOT receive foundation money. They do NOT receive government money. They do NOT receive Koch Brothers money.  They do NOT receine corporate money of any kind! What keeps them afloat is contributions from US – their viewers. These contributions keep us well informed, with unbiased reports, and interviews with Noam Chomsky, Julian Assange, Edward Snowden, Glenn Greenwald, Laura Poitras, and more!

About jackjodell53

I am an American Dissident trapped in a country where poor and middle class people are constantly being exploited and lied to by a very rigid and conservative plutocratic elite. I believe in government OF, FOR, and BY the people, not one controlled as it now is by corporations and special interests.
