WHAT THE IRAN AGREEMENT BORROWS FROM JFK

Apr. 27, 2015  By Jack Jodell (in association with BURR DEMING of FAIR AND UNBALANCED.COM – see my Blogroll in the lower right hand column).

color jfkHappy final Monday of April, everybody! This week, our resident podcaster extraordinaire, Burr Deming, comments on the recently achieved nuclear agreement with the nation of Iran. He sees a parallel to the negotiations President Kennedy had in 1963 with our then-mortal enemy, the Soviet Union.  Of course, in those days, the Republican Party was far saner, and none of its members would have ever dreamed of doing an end-around the President while he was negotiating. For thankfully, back then, there were only conscientious true conservatives around, with no government-hating, Tea Party-infested Republicans in Congress trying to sabotage the President’s efforts!

BURR!Burr states, “We can’t trust Iran.
We are in a simmering war.
We need to take a harder stand.
We should not be negotiating.
We should be in battle.

Where have we heard all this before?

Those of us who have lived long enough might remember word-for-word.”

About jackjodell53

I am an American Dissident trapped in a country where poor and middle class people are constantly being exploited and lied to by a very rigid and conservative plutocratic elite. I believe in government OF, FOR, and BY the people, not one controlled as it now is by corporations and special interests.
