About jackjodell53

I am an American Dissident trapped in a country where poor and middle class people are constantly being exploited and lied to by a very rigid and conservative plutocratic elite. I believe in government OF, FOR, and BY the people, not one controlled as it now is by corporations and special interests.

There is a lot of truth in them thar words.

A segment unlikely to be seen on tonight’s “Hannity.”

How can you not love Abe Lincoln. A depressed man who still had faith in humanity that given the facts they would decide correctly. Of course he never met a modern day republican.

How well that describes today’s tea party-infested Republicans — resentful, obstinate and very, very angry. Rep. Joe Wilson saying “you lie” to President Obama during a state of the union address. Brent Bozell saying Obama “looks like a crackhead.” John Boehner bellowing, :”Hell no you can’t!” Andrew Breitbart’s ugly, dishonest assault on Shirley Sherrod. Ohio Gov. John Kasich’s angry bashing of a state trooper who had stopped him on a highway, just doing his job honestly. Rush Limbaugh’s ugly, angry, thoroughly dishonest assault on Sandra Fluke. Donald Trump angrily demanding Obama produce his passport. John Sununu calling Obama lazy and saying he’s not smart. Grover Norquist threatening those who abandon his no-tax-increase pledge with being run out of office in their next election race. Sore loser Allen West charging his seat in Congress was stolen from him. The list goes on and on.

How right you are. Someday, IF and WHEN these outspoken creeps ever come to their senses (I’m not optimistic), they will be truly ashamed of such immature and spoiled brat-like behavior. They are the polar opposites of their parents, just as today’s GOP has become the polar opposite of its far more civil and sane predecessor.
