Today, I would like to make   a sincere request for Illinois 8th congressional district voters to PLEASE FIRE YOUR FIRST-TERM CONGRESS-MAN JOE WALSH NOW!

This guy is a self-centered DEADBEAT who owes more than $100,000 in past-due child support! He denies that bank speculation by irresponsible and greedy Wall Street speculators caused our current economic nightmare. He has said he does not care at all if government rmployees lose their jobs and is glad the post office is laying off thousands of employees. Here is an accurate accounting of  an absolutely crazy ranting and raving he did last week, yelling angrily and pointing his finger threateningly AT HIS OWN CONSTITUENTS, THE PEOPLE WHO PAY HIS SALARY! This is taken from a piece by Lee Moran which appeared in THE UNITED KINGDOM’S DAILY MAIL, halfway across the world in ENGLAND! Moran writres:

“A Tea Party-backed Republican – who gained office vowing to bring fiscal responsibility to Washington – ‘went crazy’ and shouted down a constituent who questioned the power big banks have over government. The bizarre rant from Illinois congressman Joe Walsh came after he was grilled during an informal surgery in a bar about the lack of regulation which ultimately allowed banks to bet against their own customers.
Cutting off the man, the father-of-five yelled: ‘I am tired of hearing that crap! Don’t blame the banks… that pisses  me off!’

He then told the potential voter that he would ask him to leave if he did not stop talking.

Walsh was meeting constituents on Sunday at the UNO Bar & Grill in the Chicago suburb of Gurnee, for his weekly Cup Of Joe With Joe Walsh event, when he lost his temper. Standing up, he gesticulated his hands wildly in front of his face as he answered questions, which included why are there bank  lobbyists in Congress and other financial regulatory agencies.

He said: ‘I don’t want government meddling in the marketplace. Yeah, they move from Goldman Sachs to the White House, I understand all of that. But you gotta be consistent. And it’s not the private marketplace that created this mess. What created this mess was your government, which has demanded for years that everybody be in a home. And we’ve made it easy as possible for people to be in homes.’

Walsh also suggested that the federal government stop funding the U.S. Postal Service. He shouted: ‘If the Postal Service can’t compete in the marketplace, I am tired of propping it up.’

Walsh, 49, unexpectedly captured his north eastern Illinois district last year by a slim margin, campaigning on a promise to reign in government spending and promoting his conservative values.

He gained notoriety earlier this year for speaking out against U.S. President Barack Obama and accusing him of lying about the impact of not raising the national debt ceiling.

In July it was revealed he was being sued by his ex-wife Laura for more than $100,000 in unpaid child support.

She filed a claim in December 2010, as part of their divorce case, which says he owes $117,437  to her and their three children. He is now married to Helene.

The congressman’s alleged financial problems also made headlines while he was campaigning last year, when at least one staffer claimed he would ‘spend, spend, spend uncontrollably’.

His campaign manager quit and sued for $20,000 in non-payment, and two other staffers who quit accused him of not properly disclosing a 2008 home foreclosure and traffic citations to the public, taking their grievances public.

Walsh also bounced checks, including one to a Republican fundraiser.

A Walsh spokesman at the time called it a smear campaign by disgruntled workers and said the congressman had learned from his financial struggles, including the foreclosure.”

Walsh, like most tea-partiers, prides himself on his “fiscal responsibility.” Yet it is strange how IN-fiscally responsible he is in his own private life, and how small of a family man he is to have left three children behind while amassing an astonishing $117,497 in unpaid child support!

It is abundantly clear he cannot manage his violent temper NOR his personal finances. It is doubtful he has the mental faculties needed to manage his constituents’ needs, either, since he is obviously clueless as to the blame reckless Wall Street speculators really DO deserve for ruining our economy as well as to how the Post Office is ACTUALLY funded, by the sale of stamps and postage, NOT federal bailouts. Then, too, he conveniently ignores the FACT that a lame-duck TRPUBLICAN-CONTROLLED Congress, through legislation signed by Republican President George W. Bush, forced The post office, UNLIKE OTHER FEDERAL AGENCIES, to make an annual payment of more than $5 billion as an advance contribution to future retiree medical costs. Walsh, reactionary Republican that he is, simply DOES NOT CARE.

Walsh hates government employment so much, and instead wants all government jobs to go to private industry, that I suggest to you that HE BE FIRED IMMEDIATELY AND RETURNED TO PRIVATE INDUSTRY HIMSELF! I would strongly urge that he be replaced by an Iraq War veteran who lost both her legs in service to her country, Ms. Tammy Duckworth. She is actively running for Walsh’s seat anyway, plus she has a heart AND a brain (both of which Walsh obviously lacks). She understands the proper role of government (for its servants to LISTEN and not just shout down constituents) and would serve the district very well!

About jackjodell53

I am an American Dissident trapped in a country where poor and middle class people are constantly being exploited and lied to by a very rigid and conservative plutocratic elite. I believe in government OF, FOR, and BY the people, not one controlled as it now is by corporations and special interests.

You bet, Gwen—this arrogant and irresponsible DEADBEAT must GO! I have NEVER witnessed such outright hostile behavior by an elected rep until the Tea Party dumped this a-hole on us!

I gotta veer away abit from your post, which I agree with 100% Jack.

Illinois politics is nuts. The democratic party is a big part of the nuttery. We are so factioned that despite this kook Walsh’s kookery, we could very well lose this seat.

We’ve been trying to get Duckworth elected to something for years. I like her and think she’d be a great representative. Why she’s lost elections is, well hell. We have to beat shit out of the republicans the way they do us or we look like pussies. We lost three elections with far better qualified candidates in my home county because the candidates refused to attack the opponent and beat them up for their lies.

And this Walsh needs a good whoopin. I almost wish I had some pull again so I could be sent there to help out.

While Illinos Democratic Party politics is indeed fractious, I am counting on presidential election year increased turnout plus this deadbeat’s VERY unpopular, pro-1% stances as well as his hostile behavior to deservedly cost him his seat. I think THIS time, Duckworth will prevail.

  2. Great piece, Jack. I’m glad someone wrote an informative article calling attention to this Nazi piece of shit and his rant.
Ever since I watched that video a few days ago, I’ve been really angry. I wish I’d been there myself. Someone needed to stand up to this asshole and say, “We taxpayers pay your salary! Don’t yell at us! YOU ARE OUR EMPLOYEE, YOU FUCKING ASSHOLE”
I especially wish I’d been there when this sick son of a bitch asked people to leave. Yes, it’s a public restaurant and he is a public employee—and he’s going to ask me to leave. Good luck with that.
The Ruling Class in America is so used to getting their way and walking all over us, they’ve gotten incredibly arrogant and cocky. They believe that they can force us to not only eat shit, but also show gratitude for doing so.
I really do believe it’s time for a Second American Revolution.

Thank you—you took the words right out of my mouth. I wouldn’t classify this jerk as one of the “Ruling Class” though. It’s clear that he is just a mindless stooge, believing all the usual far-right corporate poppycock. What this guy is, I believe, is a very selfish middle class jerk who only cares about himself, hates paying taxes, and hates paying child support as well. Instead of being in Congress and out on the streets shouting at people, the arrogant son of a bitch ought to be in jail until he has met all of his obligations, and then be barred from ever again holding office by the voters of his state.

  3. Infidel753 says:

A disgraceful man to be sure — though I’m not sorry he’ll be there for another year, serving as a millstone on the neck of the Republican party (and of these idiots — “unwavering support of the family?!) in the public’s eye.

After the year’s up, it will be a joy indeed to see Duckworth beat him.

  4. Tom Harper says:

But Joe Walsh believes in Family Values. He hates homosexuals and worships the unborn. Nothing else matters.

Those laid-off postal employees have already been born, so who needs them?
